The Electronic Recycling Association Donates Computers to 105 Gibson Centre in Markham, Ontario

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support local community programs by donating 2 desktop computers and 3 laptops to the 105 Gibson Centre in Markham, Ontario.

This electronics donation helps strengthen the Centre’s growing programs by providing reliable technology for staff and volunteers who rely on computers to deliver essential services, coordinate programs, and support community members. As demand for digital access continues to rise, having dependable laptops and desktops is critical for nonprofits working on the front lines.

At ERA, we believe in reuse before recycle. All donated computers are professionally refurbished, tested, and securely data-wiped before being redistributed. By extending the life of electronics, ERA not only reduces electronic waste but also helps bridge the digital divide by ensuring community organizations have access to the tools they need to thrive.

The donation to 105 Gibson Centre reflects ERA’s ongoing commitment to supporting charities, nonprofits, and community organizations across Ontario and Canada. Many organizations continue to face a shortage of usable technology, and ERA is always looking to work with corporate donors who want to make a meaningful social and environmental impact.

If your organization is in need of refurbished laptops or desktop computers—or if your business is looking for a responsible electronic recycling partner—ERA is here to help.
