The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce the return of our “Parts to PC” youth workshop in Calgary this May 2026. This hands-on program is designed to inspire the next generation of tech enthusiasts by teaching real-world computer skills in a fun and engaging environment.

A Hands-On Tech Experience for Youth (Ages 12–15)

Wouldn’t it be exciting to build your own computer from scratch?

Our Parts to PC workshop gives students the opportunity to:

  • Disassemble and reassemble a computer step-by-step
  • Learn what each internal component does
  • Understand how hardware works together to power a machine
  • Gain basic troubleshooting skills

From loose parts to a fully functioning system, students will experience the complete journey of building a computer—and even test their finished machine at the end.

  • Dates: Monthly sessions starting May 2026
  • Time: 10:15 AM – 12:15 PM
  • Location: ERA Calgary Depot – 1315 73rd Ave SE, Calgary
  • Cost: Free
