At the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), we believe in the power of technology to open doors, create opportunities, and strengthen communities. That’s why we are dedicated to giving refurbished electronics a second life by donating them to charities, nonprofits, and community-focused organizations across Canada.
Recently, ERA proudly donated 10 laptops to La Cordée in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Supporting La Cordée’s Mission
La Cordée is an organization committed to offering essential support and services to vulnerable members of the Sherbrooke community. By providing assistance in areas such as housing, education, and personal development, La Cordée empowers individuals to overcome challenges and build stronger futures.
With the donation of laptops, staff and program participants will gain better access to digital tools that are essential in today’s world.
These devices will help with:
- Administrative operations that allow La Cordée to serve more people effectively.
- Educational and training opportunities for participants.
- Improved access to online resources, job applications, and communication tools.
Reducing E-Waste, Expanding Opportunities
This donation is part of ERA’s ongoing mission to reduce e-waste and make technology accessible to those who need it most. By refurbishing and redistributing electronics, we help protect the environment while supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Get Involved
Every donation to ERA helps us continue this important work. If your business or household has unwanted electronics, consider donating them to the ERA. Together, we can reduce waste, promote sustainability, and empower communities across Canada.
