Mount Royal Community Electronic Recycling & Cleanup Day in Saskatoon

By electronic recycling association September 24, 2025

Want to make a difference in your community while protecting the environment? Mark your calendar for the Mount Royal Community Association’s Drop-Off Cleanup Day on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Maria Goretti Community School (301 Avenue Q N, Saskatoon, SK).

In partnership with the Mount Royal Community Association, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) will be on-site to provide a safe, convenient, and eco-friendly way to recycle your unwanted electronics. By simply dropping off your items, you’ll help reduce e-waste and support a meaningful cause.

Accepted Items

We’ll be collecting a wide range of electronics, including:

  • Desktop and laptop computers
  • Tablets, cell phones, smart phones, and home phones
  • Printers, servers, and handheld electronics (MP3 players, gaming consoles, etc.)
  • Stereo equipment, cameras, USB keys, cords, cables, and accessories (mice, keyboards, CDs, DVDs, etc.)

Please note: Old tube TVs, microwaves, and personal appliances will not be accepted.

How Your Donation Helps

The ERA refurbishes donated electronics and redistributes them to Canadian charities, schools, and individuals in need. These devices support programs for education, employment, and community services, helping people overcome challenges such as poverty and health issues. By donating, you’re not only preventing e-waste from ending up in landfills—you’re also giving technology a second life where it’s needed most.

Take part in building a cleaner, stronger community. Join us at the Mount Royal Community Association’s Drop-Off Cleanup Day—bring your unwanted electronics, and let ERA handle the rest!
