October 19th to 25th 2015 – is Waste Reduction Week in Canada, so in recognition and support of waste reduction initiatives, ERA hosted 5 events in 4 cities across Canada. To offer further incentive for the public to donate unwanted electronics, ERA will tally all equipment collected according to their Moolah for Macros charitable fundraising program and donate all proceeds to UNICEF Canada. Oct 20 – We had a great first day of Waste Reduction Week The Core Shopping Centre! We will be onsite again tomorrow, so be sure to bring in your unwanted electronics so they can be included in our WRW UNICEF fundraiser!
We will be raffling off some prizes tomorrow as well, don’t miss out!
Oct 14 – ERA was pleased to provide 5 laptops to the 187 Royal Canadian Air Cadets for use in their classroom programs. We spoke with Captain Reid Habing about the impact of the donation.
The Air Cadets program serves to instill discipline, responsibility and leadership in cadets, and the computers will help cadets improve their computer and presentation skills.
Thanks to the squadron for having us out at their High River hangar for the evening and sharing more about the program. We are happy to support such a great program!
Oct 13 – We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with UNICEF Canada! To kick off the partnership, we have planned e-waste fundraising events over the course of Waste Reduction Week, which runs from October 19 – 25 2015. Collections will be held CF Chinook Centre, The Core Shopping Centre, Kingsway Mall,Saskatoon Market Mall and Cityplace Winnipeg.
Drop off your unwanted electronics at any of the locations specified, we’ll sort and weigh them, and on October 31st, which is national UNICEF day, ERA will present UNICEF with a cheque.

Oct 13 -ERA recently provided Bow Valley College’s Centre for Excellence in Immigrant and Intercultural Advancement with a computer to help their Research Assistant and Intern complete her research project.
