Electronic Recycling Association Donates 18 Laptops to The Immigrant Education Society (TIES)

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce the donation of 18 laptops to The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) in support of their ongoing educational and employment programs for newcomers to Canada. This donation aligns with ERA’s mission to promote electronic recycling, reduce e-waste, and provide access to technology for underserved communities across the country.

The laptops will help TIES staff carry out essential administrative tasks and will also be made available to clients enrolled in the organization’s language training, digital literacy, and job readiness programs. Access to up-to-date technology is critical for immigrants and refugees as they navigate new opportunities and build successful lives in Canada.

TIES continues to experience a growing demand for technology from the individuals and families it serves. While this laptop donation is a significant step forward, the need remains high.

Do you have unused or decommissioned laptops?

By donating your electronics to ERA, you can contribute to a more sustainable future and support digital inclusion for Canadian newcomers. All donated devices are securely data-wiped, refurbished, and redistributed to nonprofit organizations like TIES.
