ERA Donates Laptops to Good Neighbours Canada: Strengthening Global Impact Through Technology

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Good Neighbours Canada in Toronto with a donation of three refurbished laptops to help enhance their operational efficiency and global outreach efforts.

Empowering a Global Mission

Good Neighbours Canada works tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals and communities both locally and internationally through education, health, and sustainable development programs. As their work continues to expand, the organization recognized the need to upgrade its technology to meet growing demands and security standards.

Their team was seeking Windows 11–capable computers to replace aging Windows 10 devices that were nearing end-of-support and posed increasing security and reliability risks. Access to newer computers will allow staff to:

  • Safely manage donor and program data in their CRM system.
  • Host secure virtual meetings with international partners and beneficiaries.
  • Produce and edit promotional materials using the latest Office tools.
  • Maintain smooth, uninterrupted daily operations.

Technology That Protects and Connects

By receiving these updated laptops from ERA, Good Neighbours Canada can now better safeguard sensitive information, streamline workflows, and focus on delivering impactful programs around the world. This contribution reflects ERA’s ongoing mission to extend the life of electronics through refurbishment and reuse—reducing e-waste while empowering organizations making a difference.

Reuse Before Recycle

The Electronic Recycling Association is dedicated to promoting sustainability and digital inclusion across Canada. Every donation helps bridge the digital divide by giving technology a second life in the hands of charities, schools, and community groups.

If your organization is in need of technology or you’d like to contribute to ERA’s reuse initiatives, visit www.era.ca to donate or request devices today. Together, we can protect the environment and empower communities—one refurbished computer at a time.
