Secure Electronic Recycling and Data Destruction Event in Regina

By electronic recycling association August 14, 2025

Presented by The Electronic Recycling Association and Better Business Bureau of Central Canada

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), in collaboration with the Better Business Bureau of Central Canada, is hosting a free electronic recycling and data destruction event in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

This initiative offers local businesses and residents a secure, convenient, and environmentally responsible way to dispose of unwanted electronics. All collected devices will undergo certified data wiping before being either refurbished for charitable use or responsibly recycled in accordance with ERA’s ISO-certified standards.

As an added service to the business community, ERA’s Mobile Shredding Unit will be on-site, providing free, on-the-spot physical destruction of hard drives, USBs, and discs—ensuring complete data security for retired storage devices.

A drive-through drop-off option will make the process quick and easy. Refurbished equipment from the event will be donated to Saskatchewan-based charities, including Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada, the Elizabeth Fry Society of Saskatchewan, and the Global Gathering Place, supporting digital access and sustainability efforts across the region.
