The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to continue its partnership with Southridge School in Surrey, BC, for the annual Southridge Recycling Campaign 2025.
This initiative empowers students from both the junior and senior schools to take an active role in protecting the environment by collecting unwanted electronics for responsible recycling. Throughout the week, student groups will compete to collect the most devices – building teamwork, eco-awareness, and sustainable habits.
ERA is supporting the campaign by providing informational signage and promotional materials to help raise awareness about the importance of responsible e-waste management. All collected equipment will be safely picked up by ERA and delivered to its certified recycling facility.
Reusable devices will be refurbished and donated to Canadian charities, schools, and non-profit organizations through ERA’s Refurbish and Donate Program. Items that cannot be reused will undergo certified data destruction and environmentally responsible recycling, ensuring data protection and minimizing waste.
