The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Galiano Conservancy Association on Galiano Island, BC, through the donation of two refurbished laptops.
This technology donation allows the Conservancy to replace outdated computers that were no longer functioning well. With the shift to hybrid board meetings, reliable laptops are essential to increase accessibility and participation. The laptops will also be used for field work, giving staff and volunteers the tools they need to advance the Conservancy’s mission of protecting and restoring the natural environment on Galiano Island.
By extending the lifecycle of electronics, the ERA helps organizations reduce costs, cut down on e-waste, and make a greater impact in their communities. Each refurbished laptop donated not only supports operational needs but also demonstrates how electronic recycling can create meaningful opportunities for charities, non-profits, and schools across Canada.
At ERA, we are committed to providing secure electronic recycling and IT asset disposition services while ensuring refurbished devices are donated to organizations that need them most. Together, we can make technology more sustainable and accessible.
If your business or household has laptops, desktops, tablets, cell phones or other devices you no longer need, consider giving them a second life through ERA. Together, we can bridge the digital divide, protect the environment, and empower communities in need.
