The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated three refurbished laptops to the Saffron Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The Centre provides essential support to individuals impacted by sexual violence and relies heavily on technology to deliver its programs and services.
Many of the Centre’s laptops are outdated and frequently break down, creating challenges for staff and practicum students. To ensure security and efficiency, students and volunteers also require organization-issued devices rather than personal ones. In addition, there is an ongoing need for monitors to better equip the team.
ERA’s donation of three laptops will help the Saffron Centre replace failing equipment, improve cybersecurity, and support their staff and students in delivering critical services to the community.
Charities across Canada are in constant need of laptops, tablets, phones, monitors, and other devices. By donating your unused electronics to ERA, you can help reduce e-waste while empowering organizations like the Saffron Centre.
