The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Kamloops Exhibition Association (KXA) with a recent donation of three refurbished laptops, two printers, and one projector. This contribution is designed to help KXA streamline the operations of their events and reduce the reliance on personal equipment brought in by volunteers.
Located in Kamloops, British Columbia, the Kamloops Exhibition Association is a vital nonprofit that hosts a variety of agricultural and community events throughout the year, including the well-known Kamloops Cowboy Festival and 4-H programs. With only one aging laptop available for use, staff and volunteers have often had to rely on their own personal technology to manage events and administrative work.
ERA’s donation aims to bridge that gap by providing devices that will help the organization enhance event coordination, communication, and record-keeping. These refurbished devices will now support KXA’s efforts to continue delivering high-quality programming to the community.
This donation reflects ERA’s ongoing mission to reduce electronic waste and promote digital equity by extending the life cycle of technology. By refurbishing and redistributing electronics, ERA not only keeps valuable items out of landfills but also empowers organizations like KXA to thrive in their mission.
