ERA Donates Computers to the Sault Ste. Marie Museum

At the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), we are committed to reducing electronic waste and supporting Canadian organizations through the power of refurbished technology. Our most recent donation highlights how sustainable tech reuse can directly benefit cultural institutions and heritage preservation.

Enhancing Archival and Security Systems with Refurbished Computers

The ERA is proud to have donated six professionally refurbished desktop computers to the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, located in Northern Ontario. This museum plays a key role in preserving and sharing the region’s rich history through exhibits, educational programming, and community engagement.

Bridging the Digital Gap in Canada’s Non-Profit Sector

Thousands of organizations across Canada are still in need of reliable technology. The ERA works to bridge this digital divide by collecting unwanted electronics from individuals and businesses, securely wiping all data, and refurbishing the equipment to donate to charities, schools, and non-profits. With over 500 organizations on our waitlist, the need for electronic donations is greater than ever.

If your company has surplus or unused electronics, consider donating to help more organizations like the Sault Ste. Marie Museum enhance their operations while contributing to a greener future.
