ERA Donates Laptops to Maidstone and Area Historical Society

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Maidstone and Area Historical Society in Essex, Ontario, with the donation of two refurbished laptops. This contribution will assist dedicated volunteers in expanding local programming, conducting research, and developing new community initiatives.

One of the Society’s current projects includes the creation of a seed library in partnership with the Heritage Native Gardens. This initiative will serve as an educational resource for the local high school and strengthen environmental programming in the region.

Following a two-year closure during the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum continues to face financial challenges and lacks the budget to purchase essential technology. ERA’s donation helps bridge this gap by providing much-needed digital tools to support research, community outreach, and sustainability projects.

At the Electronic Recycling Association, we are committed to reducing electronic waste and repurposing technology to empower charities, non-profits, and educational programs across Canada. With over 500 organizations on our waitlist, your unwanted devices can make a meaningful impact.
