The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada (CMWAC) with a recent donation of three desktop computers and two laptops. Based in British Columbia, this vital organization will use the refurbished technology to manage daily operations and replace aging equipment in their office.
As a non-profit committed to reducing electronic waste and enhancing digital inclusion, the ERA understands how difficult it can be for charitable organizations to access reliable tech—especially when funding is limited. By extending the life of used electronics through secure data wiping and professional refurbishment, we ensure that technology continues to serve a meaningful purpose.
Empowering Community Mental Wellness
The Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada is dedicated to promoting mental wellness and resilience through culturally-sensitive support services, peer counseling, education, and community engagement. Their work focuses on reducing stigma, empowering seniors and minorities, and providing accessible mental health resources for underserved populations.
With the newly donated computers and laptops, CMWAC will be better equipped to run their operations, connect with individuals in need, and expand their mental health initiatives across the province.
Bridging the Digital Divide with Electronic Recycling
At the Electronic Recycling Association, our mission goes beyond simply diverting e-waste from landfills. We are committed to bridging the digital divide by repurposing donated electronics and distributing them to charities, schools, and non-profit organizations across Canada.
With over 500 organizations currently on our waitlist, the demand for donated technology is growing rapidly. Every laptop, desktop, tablet, or cellphone donated makes a real difference in the lives of people who rely on community services like those offered by CMWAC.
