Supporting Safe Spaces for Youth Through Electronic Recycling

By electronic recycling association June 23, 2025

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Youth Safe Space Canada with a donation of essential technology, including 2 laptops, a printer, a monitor, and a projector. This donation will help enhance the organization’s day-to-day operations and expand its capacity to provide a safe and inclusive environment for youth across the community.

Empowering Young Voices with Technology
Youth Safe Space Canada is committed to creating welcoming and supportive spaces for young people, especially those facing social, emotional, or economic barriers. Access to reliable technology is vital for youth support programs, administrative functions, and community outreach—and ERA’s donation ensures that this grassroots organization can continue delivering impactful services.

Reducing E-Waste While Promoting Digital Inclusion
At ERA, our mission is twofold: to divert electronic waste from landfills and to bridge the digital divide by donating refurbished equipment to charities, schools, and nonprofits across Canada. All donated devices undergo secure data wiping and professional refurbishment, ensuring full functionality and privacy protection.

This recent donation reflects ERA’s ongoing efforts to make technology accessible to those who need it most, while also supporting Canada’s environmental sustainability goals through responsible e-waste management.

If your organization has unwanted electronics, consider donating to ERA. Your used devices could be the tools that help another youth-focused nonprofit thrive.
