Supporting Students with Electronic Recycling

By electronic recycling association September 5, 2025

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce a recent donation of 15 laptops to Tamim Academy of York Region, a not-for-profit Jewish day school dedicated to providing quality education and fostering lifelong learning within the community.

By providing these devices, ERA is helping Tamim Academy bridge the technology gap during these critical early years. With lower enrollment in its second year and limited resources, the school faces challenges in building a sustainable technology budget. This donation ensures that students will have the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive academically while the school continues to develop.

At ERA, we believe that access to technology is essential for every student, regardless of financial barriers. Supporting organizations like Tamim Academy strengthens communities by empowering students and educators alike. Together, we can reduce e-waste, repurpose valuable equipment, and invest in the next generation of leaders.

If your organization is in need of technology, or if you’d like to donate your unwanted devices to support initiatives like this, visit https://www.era.ca/donate-to-charities/ to learn more.
