Supporting Vancouver Charities Through Technology Reuse and Donation

By electronic recycling association August 21, 2026

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated three laptops and two projectors to The Beaumont Studios, a community-driven creative hub and arts charity located in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.

The technology will support The Beaumont Studios in its daily operations, helping its team continue creating opportunities for artists, creatives, and members of the local community.

Supporting Arts and Community Organizations in Vancouver

Technology plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of charities and non-profit organizations. However, upgrading computers and other equipment can be a significant expense.

Through its computer donation program, ERA helps bridge this technology gap by refurbishing reusable electronics and providing them to charities, schools, non-profits, and community organizations across Canada.

By donating three laptops and two projectors to The Beaumont Studios, ERA is helping ensure that usable technology stays in circulation while supporting an organization that contributes to Vancouver’s vibrant arts community.

Giving Electronics a Second Life

ERA works with businesses and organizations to collect unwanted computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other electronics. Devices that can be reused are securely processed and refurbished for donation, while equipment that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled.

This reuse-first approach helps reduce electronic waste, extend the life of technology, and support communities across Canada.
