ERA Donates Computers and Printers to Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Halifax
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the vital work of the Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (CWRC) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a recent donation of technology. The donation included three desktop computers, two laptops, and two printers—all intended to enhance the Centre’s operational capabilities.
As a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife, CWRC plays a critical role in environmental conservation throughout Nova Scotia. The newly donated equipment will replace outdated systems and streamline the Centre’s administrative and medical documentation processes, helping them operate more efficiently and continue providing expert care to animals in need.
Promoting Sustainability and Supporting Non-Profits
As a non-profit organization ourselves, the Electronic Recycling Association understands the challenges that come with limited funding. That’s why our donation program is designed to bridge the digital divide and reduce electronic waste by giving refurbished devices a second life in communities that need them most.
At ERA, every donated device undergoes secure data wiping in compliance with industry standards, followed by a comprehensive refurbishment process. The result? Fully functional, reliable computers and electronics that help charities, schools, and community organizations across Canada thrive.
