By electronic recycling association December 6, 2025

Fondation Action Tshuapa is a Canadian charity based in Ottawa, ON, dedicated to improving quality of life in rural communities across the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Its mission focuses on providing access to clean water, healthcare, quality education, and economic opportunities for some of the most vulnerable populations in the region.

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to support Fondation Action Tshuapa through the donation of four refurbished computers. This technology will help strengthen the organization’s operational capacity, enabling staff and volunteers to manage projects more efficiently and deliver essential education and healthcare programs.

Access to reliable computers is vital for nonprofits like Fondation Action Tshuapa. By providing refurbished technology, ERA helps organizations operate more effectively and continue making meaningful community impact. Each year, ERA donates hundreds of devices to charities and nonprofits, helping bridge the digital divide by giving communities the tools they need to learn, connect, and grow. With this donation, Fondation Action Tshuapa can better coordinate school and clinic initiatives, train field volunteers, and maintain clear communication between its Ottawa headquarters and remote villages in the DRC.

ERA would like to extend sincere thanks to its donors, whose generosity makes donations like this possible. Every refurbished device contributes to reducing electronic waste while creating new opportunities for communities in need. These laptops and desktops have now found renewed purpose with Fondation Action Tshuapa, supporting its efforts to empower Congolese families through education and healthcare.

Donate today to help ERA support more organizations making a difference through electronic reuse and recycling.
