At the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), we believe that technology is more than just equipment—it is a gateway to opportunity, empowerment, and growth. That’s why we are committed to refurbishing and donating electronic devices to charities, nonprofits, and community organizations across Canada.
Recently, ERA proudly donated 20 high-end laptops, 10 wireless mice, 10 keyboards, and HDMI/VGA cables for monitor compatibility to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission in Halifax, a valued community partner dedicated to transforming lives through compassion and support.
Strengthening Staff and Administrative Operations
These laptops and accessories will serve as essential tools for employees, enabling them to carry out critical administrative functions. Staff will now have the resources needed to manage grant applications more efficiently and oversee extensive volunteer programs that are at the heart of their mission.
Direct Benefits for Program Participants
Beyond staff use, the donated technology will directly benefit program participants—individuals who rely on these services for support in navigating important life transitions. Access to reliable computers opens the door to essential tasks such as applying for jobs, pursuing education, accessing online resources, and developing new skills.
