ERA donates 15 refurbished laptops to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission in Halifax

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Souls Harbour Rescue Mission in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with the donation of 15 refurbished laptops.

These devices will provide reliable access to technology for individuals supported by the Mission’s programs, helping them search for employment, access educational resources and essential services, develop digital skills, and stay connected.

Souls Harbour Rescue Mission provides essential programs and services to individuals and families facing poverty, homelessness, addiction, and other challenging circumstances. ERA is proud to support organizations that strengthen communities and create opportunities for people to move forward.

Through secure IT asset collection, data destruction, refurbishment, and technology donation programs, ERA helps businesses and organizations turn retired IT equipment into meaningful community impact. Extending the life of reusable technology reduces electronic waste while providing charities, schools, and nonprofit organizations with access to much-needed devices.

This donation demonstrates the value of responsible IT asset management. Technology that is no longer needed by one organization can become a valuable resource that creates new opportunities for another.

ERA thanks Souls Harbour Rescue Mission for its important work in the Halifax community and is proud to support its mission through technology reuse.

If your charity, nonprofit organization, or school needs technology, we encourage you to apply for ERA’s donation program.
