Turning Recycled Electronics into Resources

By electronic recycling association October 3, 2025

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta with a donation of five desktop computers, eight monitors, and ten headphones to enhance and expand their community programs.

Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta offers a wide range of educational, cultural, and social initiatives that strengthen community connections and enrich lives across the province. With reliable, refurbished technology provided by ERA, the organization can continue delivering essential services — from daily administration to educational programming and large-scale community events.

This donation reflects ERA’s mission to reduce electronic waste while maximizing social good. By extending the life of technology, ERA helps non-profits overcome financial barriers so they can dedicate more resources to supporting and uplifting those they serve.

At the core of ERA’s values is the belief that technology can be a powerful tool for change. Through donations like this, ERA enables Canadian charities to operate more efficiently, expand their outreach, and prevent valuable devices from ending up in landfills.

Across Canada, hundreds of charities, schools, and community groups remain on ERA’s waitlist for refurbished technology. If your business or household has unused laptops, desktops, or mobile devices, consider donating. Your contribution not only helps the environment but also empowers organizations making a difference.
