The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) was proud to partner with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Central Canada this September for a community collection event in Winnipeg. The event encouraged local businesses and residents to donate or recycle their unwanted electronics safely and securely, helping to promote responsible e-waste management and digital inclusion across Manitoba.
Collecting for a Cause
Through the generosity of local participants, ERA collected a wide range of reusable electronic devices. From these contributions, the ERA was able to donate 8 laptops and 3 printers to N’Dinawemak Inc, a Winnipeg-based organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable community members.
Frank, Executive Director of N’Dinawemak Inc, expressed his gratitude for the donation, noting the significant impact these devices will have on the organization’s day-to-day operations and the individuals they serve. Access to reliable technology will allow staff and program participants to enhance communication, manage administrative needs, and expand their support services more efficiently.
Thank You to Our Partners and Volunteers
ERA extends sincere appreciation to everyone who participated and volunteered at the collection event. A special thank-you goes to the BBB of Central Canada for partnering with ERA on this meaningful initiative — together, we’ve demonstrated how collaboration can make a real difference in both environmental sustainability and community empowerment.
