By electronic recycling association April 18, 2026

The Earth Day spirit is coming to Halifax with a community-focused electronics collection event hosted at Chebucto Connections. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, residents are invited to safely recycle their unwanted electronics while supporting local environmental and charitable initiatives.

This free event will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at #101 – 531 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS, offering a convenient and responsible way to dispose of old or unused devices. Items such as laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, and accessories will be accepted.

All collected electronics will be securely processed by the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), ensuring proper data destruction and environmentally responsible recycling. Whenever possible, refurbished devices will be donated to charities and individuals in need across Canada—helping bridge the digital divide while reducing e-waste.

Events like this highlight the importance of reuse before recycling and give community members an easy way to make a positive impact. Whether you’re clearing out old tech or simply want to support a greener future, this Earth Day event is a great opportunity to get involved.
