The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support the Vancouver Police Department Victim Services Unit through the donation of 10 refurbished cell phones.
The donated phones will be distributed to individuals and families receiving support through the Victim Services Unit. For many people affected by crime or crisis, having access to a reliable phone is essential for staying safe, contacting emergency services, and connecting with the resources they need to begin rebuilding their lives.
These devices will provide clients with a secure way to:
- Call 911 during emergencies
- Stay in contact with victim support workers
- Access community and social services
- Coordinate housing, transportation, medical appointments, and other essential needs
- Reconnect with family, friends, and support networks
At ERA, we believe that access to technology can make a meaningful difference during difficult times. By refurbishing and donating electronics that might otherwise end up in landfills, ERA helps reduce electronic waste while providing charities, community organizations, and public service agencies with the technology they need to support those they serve.
