The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Food First NL with a donation of 6 laptops, 1 desktop computer, 2 monitors, and 1 printer to help strengthen the organization’s programs and community outreach across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Food First NL is a provincial non-profit organization with nearly 30 years of experience advancing food security through innovative projects, partnerships, education, and advocacy. The organization works to improve access to healthy food while addressing the root causes of food insecurity and poverty throughout the province.
The donated technology will provide reliable access to computers for Food First NL staff, volunteers, and members of its Living and Lived Experience Advisory Group—individuals who bring valuable firsthand experience with food insecurity and poverty to help shape the organization’s programs and initiatives. Access to dependable technology will allow these participants to collaborate more effectively, participate in virtual meetings, access important resources, and continue making meaningful contributions to their communities.
ERA is committed to extending the life of quality technology by refurbishing donated electronics and redistributing them to charities, non-profit organizations, schools, and individuals in need. Every device donated helps reduce electronic waste while creating opportunities for organizations to better serve their communities.
