YYC Calgary Airport and ERA Donate 21 Tablets to Pacekids to Support Children with Communication Needs
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), in partnership with YYC Calgary Airport, recently donated 21 tablets to Pacekids in Calgary, helping provide essential technology for children with diverse communication needs.
At Pacekids, tablets are more than just devices—they are powerful tools that help educators connect with families and support children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). For many non-verbal children, these tablets provide a vital way to communicate, learn, and participate more fully in everyday activities.
This donation was made possible through YYC’s commitment to giving retired technology a second life. By partnering with ERA, organizations can securely recycle their unused electronics while creating meaningful opportunities for local charities and the communities they serve.
