The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Alberta is an animal rescue organization helping dogs and cats in Alberta. Founded in 1995, ARF is a volunteer-based organization and registered non-profit charity.

Their mission is to rescue stray and unwanted dogs and cats from rural areas and communities with limited resources and place them in loving, permanent homes while providing programs to reduce pet over-population.

Since its initial start-up, ARF has seen an ever increasing need to rescue dog/cats from various rural areas and communities. As a result of the number of animals in need of rescue, their foster homes have not been able to keep up with the amount of animals needing adequate housing and care. The need for more space for ARF to operate has led to the purchase of a bare-bones warehouse.

ARF is building a new facility, from the ground up, to house newly rescued dogs and cats before they can enter into their foster program. They are in need of everything required to operate effectively. ARF needed two computers, printers and a projector to help them with their day to day operations. We wish them all the best for the future.
