Recycle Electronics and Support the Community
This event is part of ERA’s Moolah for Macros fundraising program.
The program helps eligible organizations raise funds by collecting unwanted electronics from their communities. Families, residents, employees, and local businesses can all participate.
In addition, the program helps keep electronics out of landfills.
ERA reviews the collected equipment after the event. Whenever possible, our team refurbishes devices for reuse. We may also use working parts from other equipment.
As a result, reusable technology can support charities, schools, non-profits, and other organizations that need equipment.
What Can You Bring?
Community members can bring a range of unwanted electronics, including:
- Laptops
- Desktop computers
- Tablets
- Cell phones and smartphones
- Computer equipment and peripherals
- Other unwanted electronic devices
For the Moolah for Macros fundraising program, eligible items include intact laptops, desktops, tablets, and cell phones.
So, if you have unused technology at home or at work, this is a great opportunity to clear some space.
ERA and Blandford Community Centre Working Together
ERA will support Blandford Community Centre throughout the event.
Our team will coordinate the electronics collection and provide the required collection equipment. ERA will also manage the collected electronics after the event.
Most importantly, there is no cost to Blandford Community Centre for hosting the event.
Together, ERA and Blandford Community Centre aim to make electronics recycling simple and accessible for the local community.
At the same time, the event will promote reuse and responsible electronics management.
