These community events will provide residents with a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible way to recycle old electronics while helping support local charities through ERA’s reuse-first approach.

Secure Electronics Recycling with ERA

As a certified non-profit organization, ERA helps individuals and businesses securely recycle electronics while protecting sensitive information through secure data destruction processes. Devices collected during the events will either be responsibly recycled or refurbished and donated back to charities, schools, non-profits, and community organizations in need across Canada.

ERA follows a “Reuse Before Recycling” philosophy, helping extend the life of electronics while reducing electronic waste entering landfills. This process not only protects the environment but also creates opportunities for organizations and individuals who rely on access to technology.

Helping Québec Communities Reduce E-Waste

Electronic waste continues to grow across Canada, making community recycling initiatives increasingly important. By participating in these free recycling events, Québec residents can safely dispose of unwanted electronics while contributing to environmental sustainability and supporting charitable programs.

ERA thanks CISSS de Lanaudière for partnering on these important community events and helping promote responsible electronics recycling throughout the region.
