Supporting Young Innovators Through Technology
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support Folie Technique, a Montreal-based non-profit organization affiliated with Polytechnique Montréal, through the donation of five refurbished laptops.
This donation will help support STEM education by providing reliable technology for hands-on learning, creativity, and innovation.
Since 1991, Folie Technique has helped make science, engineering, and technology more accessible to young people across Quebec. Through workshops, robotics clubs, coding activities, engineering challenges, science camps, and outreach programs, the organization inspires youth to explore future opportunities in STEM.
Each year, Folie Technique reaches thousands of young people through educational programs led by university students in engineering and science.
Supporting Digital Inclusion and STEM Learning
Access to technology plays an important role in helping students learn, create, and build digital skills.
The five refurbished laptops donated by ERA will support Folie Technique’s workshops, educational programs, and community outreach activities. These devices will help students participate in hands-on learning experiences while developing skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Reuse Before Recycling
ERA’s mission is to reduce electronic waste by collecting, refurbishing, donating, and responsibly recycling electronics across Canada.
Many devices are retired while still functional. Through refurbishment, these electronics can continue supporting charities, schools, non-profits, and community organizations instead of becoming e-waste.
