Grow Calgary Grow their technology
We were delighted to work with Grow Calgary this week, donating 10 computers that will help their CSJ students of 2018.
Grow Calgary is one of Canada’s largest community farms that grows food for social agencies with food access programs. Everything, 100% of what they grow is donated. 100% of their production is grown by volunteers. 95% of their recipients are women and children. 100% of their recipients are vulnerable and living in poverty.
Paul Hughes, President and Executive Director at Grow Calgary said, “Thank you to the amazing ERA for the generous computer donation! Our Grow Calgary employees and volunteers now have computers to work on this summer. Not only does this help us achieve our goals at Grow Calgary but through their electronics recycling program, tons of used electronics are diverted from our landfills! Thank you again for the amazing sponsorship”.
