The Isa Mundo (One World) Foundation was born from a dream and a vision that in the future healthy families and communities will populate the world. By sharing their skills and the world’s resources in a sustainable manner, they can ensure that no community is left behind. They’re dedicated to supporting small, local and international projects by collaborating and partnering with other not-for-profits, non-governmental and community organizations to improve the situation of families and communities around the world. They provide assistance and take care of children and youth, environmental health and education projects identified by communities.
We were delighted to donate some laptops to this amazing organization. These laptops are currently being used by children in Mexico. They will go towards their new education project that is launching in Boca de Tomatlan, a small village about an hour from Puerto Vallarta centro. This village has a small school and one of Isa Mundo Foundations volunteers have begun to coordinate an after-school English literacy and computer program for primary students (Grade 1-6). This program is extremely important for young people from the village as their village attracts many English speaking tourists and it will be an advantage when they become of age and start looking for work.
While speaking with Paul Lorilla, Director, and Founder of Isa Mundo Foundation he expressed how thankful he was, “We are grateful as always for ERA’s support in improving access to technology in less fortunate communities worldwide.”
To date, ERA has donated a total of 14 laptops to the Isa Mundo Foundation and we look forward to watching them grow and make a real difference in the world.
