The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to highlight another initiative that supports IT reuse in Madagascar.
Madagasikara Fanantenana Teknolojia (MFT) recently donated 10 mini PCs and 10 monitors to SCA Anosisoa – Catholic Church. The school’s management team will use the equipment for daily administrative work, communication, record management, and task organization.

Supporting Daily Operations Through Technology
Reliable computer equipment can make a major difference for schools and community organizations.
First, the donated devices will help staff prepare documents and manage important records. In addition, the team can use the computers to improve communication and organize daily responsibilities.
As a result, SCA Anosisoa can strengthen its operations and better support its students and community.
Giving Computer Equipment a Second Life
Technology reuse allows working electronics to continue creating value instead of entering the waste stream too early.
Through this donation, MFT has extended the useful life of 20 devices. At the same time, the organization has increased access to digital tools in Madagascar.
IT reuse can:
- Improve daily administration
- Increase access to technology
- Extend the life of electronic equipment
- Reduce unnecessary electronic waste
- Support local organizations and communities
Moreover, reusing electronics helps protect the resources and energy used to manufacture each device.
Supporting Organizations Across Madagascar
MFT supports more than schools and charities. The organization also welcomes partnerships with associations, churches, institutions, community groups, and other projects that create a positive social impact.
Therefore, organizations that need computer equipment can explore collaboration opportunities with MFT. These partnerships can help more communities access the digital resources they need.
Finally, ERA congratulates MFT on this meaningful donation to SCA Anosisoa – Catholic Church. This initiative shows how responsible electronics reuse can create both environmental and social benefits.
Organizations and individuals can also support technology reuse by donating unwanted computers, laptops, monitors, smartphones, and other electronic equipment.
Together, we can give technology a second life and help build stronger, more connected communities.
