Melfort Public Library Receives 4 Laptops

By electronic recycling association April 8, 2019

The Melfort Public Library is conveniently located downtown Melfort at 106 Crawford Avenue West, across from the Northern Lights Palace. The library offers a collection of over 45,000 books, magazines, DVDs, talking books, and more. E-books may also be borrowed with your library card.  They also provide public access to computers and the internet as well as wireless internet access.

Many programs are offered throughout the year for kids and adults. Craft, painting, computer and other classes and speakers are offered on an occasional basis for adults, kids and teens. They offer a shut-in service for those people who are unable to visit the library.

We were pleased to donate four laptops to this library. They will be used for a number of library programs, and help with including some kids who may not have been able to participate in some of the programs otherwise!

Librarian Vanessa Pederson who is in the photo below states; “Thank you so much for this. This will be a great help for our programs.”
