MNA David Birnbaum to Appear at MADA Community Center Donation Event in Montreal

The electronic Recycling Association donates 14 devices to the MADA Community Center with the help of a political member

Montreal, Quebec (October 10th 2019) –  The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce that they will be holding a donation event with the help of MNA David Birnbaum. MADA Community Center will receive a donation of 6 computers, 5 laptops and 3 printers. These devices will be used by their office staff who are currently using older computers which are significantly slower and out of date. Having access to these new devices will create a smoother work week for the staff. ERA will also be providing three refurbished printers which will replace their old ones that continue to break regularly. The computers will also allow their clients who do not own a device to stop by the MADA Community Center and order their monthly food baskets online without waiting.

“In a charity organization, such as MADA, every dollar counts.  The money that we will save by not having to purchase new computers and printers can be used directly for our programs to benefit our clients.  Thank you to the ERA for your great work.” said Stuart Miller, CPA,CA, Controller at the MADA Community Center.

“We are thrilled to work with MNA David Birnbaum a respected member of the community within Montreal.” Said Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the Electronic Recycling Association. “It is great to have politicians like MNA David Birnbaum who support our mission by attending these small donation events, we thank you!”.

‘’This is a wonderful initiative by the Electronic Recycling Association to give back to the community, allow MADA’S clientele to benefit from access to technology and that protects the environment at the same time. We need to stay connected and in touch with the world we live in, and this donation will allow the people who frequent the MADA Community Center to do so.’’ David Birnbaum, MNA for D’Arcy-McGee and Official Opposition Critic for Indigenous Affairs.
