April 2014 – Nikki from Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta accepts a donation of laptops for her amazing team of youth leaders. These young cancer survivors are all attending University in the fall, and do not have the means to a computer without the help of the ERA. This group of inspiring teens are part of the leadership program, where they learn about becoming leaders in the community through public speaking, workshops, mentorship and volunteering. These teens are very active in the community, and all complete individual fundraising in order to travel to third-world countries and build homes for families in need. This group just returned from El Salvador and each received a new-to-them laptop to help in starting University.
