The Patro Le Prevost Receives 10 Laptops, 1 Computer, 1 Printer and 1 Projector

The Patronage Jean-Léon Le Prevost was founded in 1909 by the Religious of Saint Vincent de Paul, and named in honor of the founder of this community. The Patro Foundation is part of a group that support youth and workers and have the objective of relieving the misery of people and offering young people a safe and educational place to contribute to their development.

The Patro Le Prevost is a living environment inspired by the values ​​stemming from their heritage, promoting the well-being, development and dignity of people, especially the young and the most vulnerable, by focusing its activities on mutual aid, leisure and community action.

Le Petit Robert defines the word patronage as being a “charity, charitable society created to provide moral training to children and adolescents”. Today, Patro is a dynamic living environment that relies on community action and leisure as methods of social intervention with the Montreal population. More than 2,000 people participate in its activities every week, and the employment center has more than 120 employees, in addition to being supported by more than 200 volunteers and numerous interns.

ERA was delighted to donate 10 laptops, 1 computer, 1 printer and 1 projector to the Patro Le Prevost in Montreal. These laptops will go towards teenagers to continue their studies and to work on their green space recycling program. These donated devices will also benefit newcomers to allow them access to online services. The donated computer will be used for French lessons and discoveries of Canadian culture for seniors.
