ERA Donates Tech to Sian Bradwell Fund For Children With Cancer

By electronic recycling association May 23, 2024

The Electronic Recycle Association (ERA) donated two desktop computers and a projector to The Sian Bradwell Fund For Children With Cancer in Pointe-Claire, QC. This donation will make a significant impact on the organization’s ability to continue its vital work in assisting children battling cancer.

The Sian Bradwell Fund, dedicated to supporting children and families affected by cancer, relies heavily on technology to streamline operations and provide educational and supportive resources. However, like many charitable organizations, they face the challenge of maintaining functional equipment within budget constraints. This tech donation from ERA will replace old and malfunctioning equipment and enhancing the Fund’s capacity to serve its beneficiaries effectively.

The two desktop computers will serve as essential tools for administrative tasks, data management, and communication, empowering the Fund’s staff to work more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the donation of a projector opens up new avenues for educational initiatives and presentations, enabling the Fund to deliver impactful messages and support materials to children and families facing the daunting challenges of cancer.

ERA’s commitment to environmental sustainability shines through in this donation, as the organization specializes in repurposing and recycling electronic devices. By providing refurbished equipment to organizations in need, ERA not only contributes to the community but also promotes the responsible disposal and reuse of electronic waste, aligning with principles of environmental stewardship.

If you want to make a difference to both people in need, and the environment, then it’s time to start electronic recycling with the ERA. And it’s not as difficult as it seems. We here at the Electronic Recycling Association have made it easy for everyone. If there is any electronic device – cell phone, tablets, laptop – that you want to donate, we will take it off your hands.
