The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to support community organizations by providing refurbished technology that helps them continue their important work.
Recently, ERA donated a refurbished laptop to the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band in Ottawa, helping the organization improve its day-to-day operations and communications. The band had been relying on an aging laptop that was becoming increasingly unreliable for managing music files, videos, and essential administrative tasks.
As a volunteer-driven cultural organization, access to dependable technology is vital for sharing music, coordinating performances, and preserving Scottish heritage within the community. The donated laptop will provide the band with a more reliable tool to support these activities and help keep members connected.
At ERA, we believe that giving technology a second life creates new opportunities for charities, nonprofits, and community groups while keeping electronics out of landfills. Through technology reuse and responsible electronic recycling, ERA helps organizations across Canada access the equipment they need to make a positive impact.
If your business has surplus laptops, desktops, monitors, tablets, or other IT equipment, consider donating through ERA. Your donation can help strengthen community organizations while supporting environmental sustainability.
