The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to share that 20 laptops have been donated to Catholic Social Services Sign of Hope to support their important community work and help provide greater access to technology.
This donation is part of ERA’s ongoing mission to reduce electronic waste, promote technology reuse, and support charities, nonprofits, schools, and community organizations across Canada.
Supporting Communities Through Technology Donations
Access to reliable technology is essential for communication, education, employment support, program delivery, and day-to-day operations. For many community organizations, laptops and computers play an important role in helping staff, volunteers, and program participants stay connected and supported.
By donating 20 laptops to Catholic Social Services Sign of Hope, ERA is helping extend the life of reusable technology while supporting an organization that provides valuable services to individuals and families in the community.
ERA’s Donation Program
Since 2004, ERA has worked with businesses, schools, government offices, nonprofits, and community groups to collect unwanted electronics and give technology a second life.
Reusable devices are tested, prepared, and donated to organizations that need technology support. Items that cannot be reused are processed through ERA’s responsible electronics recycling programs.
Through donations like this, ERA continues to support digital inclusion while helping reduce e-waste across Canada.
