ERA Partners with Quebec’s Minister of Cybersecurity and Digital Affairs to Donate Technology in Magog
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently partnered with Quebec’s Minister of Cybersecurity and Digital Affairs, Gilles Bélanger, to support Cuisines Collectives de Magog through a technology donation in Magog, Québec.
As part of the initiative, ERA donated five laptops, two tablets, one projector, one printer, and one monitor to help provide the organization with technology to support its programs, staff, and community services.
ERA works with businesses, government organizations, and community partners to recover unwanted electronics and give reusable technology a second life. Instead of allowing functional devices to become electronic waste, ERA refurbishes eligible equipment and donates it to charities, schools, non-profits, and community organizations in need.
Partnerships like this demonstrate how electronics reuse and responsible recycling can create both environmental and social benefits. Extending the life of technology helps reduce e-waste while improving access to devices and equipment that can make a meaningful difference for local organizations.
