The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to attend the Summer Villages of Alberta 68th Annual Conference in Nisku, AB on October 15, 2026, where we will showcase solutions for responsible electronics reuse and secure data destruction.
ERA will be on-site with our mobile hard drive shredder, giving conference attendees an opportunity to see how physical hard drive destruction works. Our team will demonstrate the shredding process and share information about how municipalities, businesses, and organizations can securely manage retired computers and other electronic equipment while protecting sensitive data.
The conference provides a great opportunity for ERA to connect with Mayors, Councillors, MLAs, municipal representatives, and community leaders from across Alberta. We look forward to discussing how responsible electronics reuse can help organizations reduce electronic waste while creating a positive impact in local communities.
At ERA, our focus goes beyond electronics recycling. Whenever possible, collected technology is securely data-wiped, tested, refurbished, and given a second life through our computer donation programs. Reusable laptops, computers, smartphones, tablets, and other devices can be donated to charities, nonprofits, schools, and community organizations that need access to technology.
For equipment that cannot be reused, ERA provides responsible recycling options. We also offer secure data destruction services, including hard drive shredding, to help organizations properly dispose of data-bearing devices.
