By electronic recycling association March 8, 2019

The Asista Foundation is a young foundation located in a state of the art facility at the Centre Vétérinaire Laval that offers emergency 24H specialized services for companion animals. Asista’s governing board is made up of multiple administrators ranging from a variety of backgrounds who meet regularly to discuss policy, emerging issues and the implementation of new services and or ideas.

Speaking with Sophie-Rose Trahan Perreault, Communications Advisor at the Assista Foundation she states, “Being able to have one equipped computer in our office at all times will be great.” The Laptop will be used for their operational team that are their front line workers in training these sophisticated service dogs perform their duties. The laptops would be used for data entry into their in-house program as well as research. The laptops would also be used by their triage unit. The foundation receives approximately 35 applications a day and place approximately 30 dogs a year.
