The Electronic Recycling Association responds to COVID-19 by donating N95 masks and offering their facilities to distribute PPE equipment to those in need

Calgary, AB (April 21st 2020) – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has joined the growing number of companies finding unique ways to try stop the spread of Covid-19. The nonprofit announced today that they will be donating 1,500 N95 masks to organizations that are in critical need of these supplies. The ERA picked charities and nonprofits from their list of organizations waiting on laptop and computer donations. Some support homelessness, kids in need, youth, women, the elderly, organizations, individuals with disabilities, newcomers to Canada and more.

ERA is picking up donations of PPE equipment to distribute to needy charities and non profits. Individuals or companies with extra PPE equipment can now donate it to ERA and they will ensure it gets to those in need Canada wide. They will be providing the use of their trucks and drivers to pickup or drop off the equipment. In addition to this, they will be offering their forklifts and warehouse to collect, warehouse and redistribute any PPE equipment they receive from parties. The actions that ERA has taken are in a ruse to entice other companies to volunteer their time and help reopen Canada when the time comes, and give essential businesses and charities access to PPE equipment without an issue.

“Now is the time for businesses and individuals to come together, put their differences aside and help as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19”, said Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the Electronic Recycling Association. “ERA is an organization with deep community roots, we are always looking for ways to help those in need through tough times. COVID-19 is another cause that ERA is proud to assist in any way possible.”
