Confederation Court Community House Receives 10 laptops

By electronic recycling association July 24, 2019

Confederation Court Community House provides educational, recreational, and social programs and services to the families living in the Confederation Court Community. They offer confidential support and referrals to children, youth, adults, and families ensuring a safe and comfortable environment to access programs and services.

We were delighted to donate 10 laptops to the Confederation Court Community House. The purpose of this donation is to help provide laptops to their After-School Program. Currently, they have 5 basic laptops that are used by the children and youth in their After-school program. The issue they were facing was that they had roughly 30-40 children/youth per day attending programming. With the increase of homework that is assigned online they found it difficult to provide the needed computer access for these programs. Having these extra laptops for their clients will help them tremendously.

Tayra-Lee Miller, Child and Youth Manager States, “We would like to say a huge thank you to the ERA for this amazing donation. These will help the children of our community with any homework need, while attending our homework club!”
