MacNeill Secondary School is Educated on the Importance of Reusing Obsolete Electronics

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) had the pleasure of visiting MacNeill Secondary school to educate their students on ERA and the importance of reusing electronics. Our directors in Vancouver travelled out to the school to present in front of a class of eager students. We brought our Parts to PC program mobile and had one of our reps open a computer, explain each function and how they contribute to the device operating.

This same school participated in our e-waste fundraiser in honour of Earth Month. They were able to fundraise $200 for their green team after collecting unwanted electronics to help ERA address the growing problem of e-waste and the increasing ‘digital divide’. If you are a school or charitable organization interested in holding a fundraiser, please contact Jessica Lifely our Business Development and Marketing Manager at 403-262-4488 for more information.
