The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to partner with The Honourable Kateri Champagne Jourdain to help improve access to technology for community organizations in Quebec. Through this collaboration, 2 refurbished laptops and 8 tablets were donated to Richelieu Respite in Sept-Îles, Quebec, providing valuable digital tools to support the organization’s daily operations and the people it serves.
Access to reliable technology is essential for charities and non-profit organizations. Refurbished computers and tablets help organizations communicate more effectively, manage programs, connect with clients, and reduce operating costs, allowing them to focus more resources on supporting their communities.
The Honourable Kateri Champagne Jourdain is the Member of the National Assembly for Duplessis, representing the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), and is a member of the Innu Nation. She made history as the first Indigenous woman elected to Quebec’s National Assembly and the first Indigenous woman to serve on the province’s Council of Ministers. Her commitment to supporting communities across Quebec continues to create meaningful opportunities for organizations that make a difference every day.
This donation also reflects ERA’s commitment to extending the life of electronic devices while reducing electronic waste. By refurbishing and redistributing quality technology, ERA helps organizations access the equipment they need while keeping usable electronics out of landfills and supporting Canada’s circular economy.
