The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently partnered with the Political Attaché from the Office of Andrés Fontecilla, Member of the National Assembly for Laurier-Dorion, to donate much-needed technology to CDC Solidarités Villeray in Montreal, Quebec.
The donation included two desktop computers, four laptops, and two tablets, providing CDC Solidarités Villeray with reliable technology to support its ongoing work in the community.
Supporting Montreal Communities Through Technology Reuse
Access to reliable computers and digital devices is essential for community organizations. Technology helps staff manage daily operations, communicate with community partners, coordinate programs, and provide important services to the people they support.
By providing refurbished technology to CDC Solidarités Villeray, ERA is helping strengthen the organization’s technological capacity while extending the useful life of electronic devices.

Bridging the Digital Divide and Reducing Electronic Waste
Since 2004, the Electronic Recycling Association has worked to reduce electronic waste and bridge the digital divide by collecting unwanted computers, laptops, phones, tablets, and other electronic equipment from businesses and individuals.
Reusable devices are securely processed, refurbished, and redirected to charities, schools, non-profits, and community organizations in need. Equipment that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled.
